The Aroma NRC- 1000 Nutriware 18 Cup Whole Grain Gourmet Digital Rice Cooker, Steamer, and Pasta Cooker comes with a hefty price tag, but in exchange you get a rice cooker with the ability to cook gourmet food items as well as regular white rice if need be.  Many normal rice cookers are unable to handle long grain rice or whole grain rice because the consistency of the water and heat must be customized in order to get the perfect texture of rice.  However, the Aroma rice cooker has perfected the skill with a digital user plate that makes sure rice comes out as anticipated every time.

One of the reasons that the Aroma rice cooker is able to handle whole grains is due to the fact that it comes with built in Fuzzy Logic microcomputer which is able to judge the rice cooking process on its own.  This means that once you put rice into the rice cooker you can sit back as the vessel will actually process the material inside of it and automatically adjust its temperature and time to create the best rice every time.
